Cookies being better than donuts may be debatable, but this song as our family anthem is not. :)

Donuts? Please tell me you get them from a real bakery, and are not talking about those *things* they sell at Dunkin' Donuts.

Dunkin' Donuts only makes decent donuts. Their donuts aren't horrible, but a local bakery will almost always win out. Unfortunately, those local bakeries are rarely right off the highway and laziness far exceeds my desire for a quality donut.
Wegmans' half-moon cookies have a special place in my heart.

Decent donuts? Oh, man, you gotta hit your local bakery more often. Dunkin' Donuts had ok donuts years ago, but since going to centralized bakeries in the past seven or eight years, quality has dropped like a rock. We stopped getting donuts there some time ago due to that.
Now, Wegmans' half-moon cookies are pretty good. No argument there! :) Heck, Wegmans donuts are probably better than Dunkin' Donuts'.

Yeah I can't eat Dunkin Donuts donuts. They are waaaay too sweet. Now their coffee, their coffee rocks. Best coffee hands down. McDonalds isn't bad either.

Pshaw. This Liberal Elite(TM) drinks tea. Preferably tea brewed at home.

Yea, no coffee here. I absolutely hate the taste of coffee. Tea on the other hand, I love, which is apparently evident as I received tea bags as part of my groomsmen gift at the last wedding I attended. :)

I worked in a coffee factory for three years. We made far better (and far worse) grades of coffee compared to Dunkin Donuts there. There's no real magic in DD coffee, other than they don't use the cheap stuff that most fast food places used for years (and many still do). Dunkin cultivates this myth that their coffee is some uber-blend above all others--I think, if you really check around, you can find many alternatives that are at least as good if not better. At the end of the day, it comes down to personal preference--I'm sure you can find somebody out there that believes BK coffee is the bomb.
I would agree that good coffee smells very good. However, the taste isn't good to me at all, sweetened or not. Tea, on the other hand, comes in so many flavors and styles it's hard to find nothing to like. You should try it sometime.
